Faculty-Board

The Faculty Board is responsible for the academic standards, research, content and delivery of university undergraduate level education, as well as the academic operations at the Air Force Academy. The faculty board is located in "DanJe-Kwan". "DanJe-Kwan" is the pen name of Chae Ho Shin. This name means "his racial spirit" and "praise it." The building is 21881 sq. yds. The building contains 4 stories and 1 basement. There are 53 general lecture rooms;[ 39 small lecture rooms (for 25 people), 6 medium lecture rooms (for 100 people), 4 large rooms (for 250 people), 4 seminar rooms ] and 97 other rooms for professors' offices, laboratories, computer center and supporting offices. Lecture rooms and laboratories have LCD Projectors and VCR Monitors for visual and auditory related education. Also, the faculty board is equipped with wireless internet so that ones can access information anywhere within the faculty building. Laboratories for science and engineering classes are located in one building saving time and providing easy access to experimental equipments.
