Educational Schedule

Overview

The objectives for Physical Education are to sustain strong mentality, basic physical ability, and to get well around the environment in a space. Furthermore, the core reason of the Physical Education is to help physical ability of pilots to improve, and to sustain healthy body and mind.

Regular term of education

Fourth class cadets are trained martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, Judo, and KUMDO. Cadets must choose one of the martial art courses and by the end of the year , they must obtain 1 degree or higher rank. The main objective is to train self-defense ability. From third classmen to first classmen, cadets take aerospace fitness training, consist of weight training, circuit training, neck exercise, and swimming.

This course is for the main purpose of Physical Education, because they must complete aerospace fitness to endure G-force to get around to the air environment. The object for third classmen physical education is in taking the basic aerospace fitness and physical ability.

Third classmen may take aerospace fitness training, ball games, gymnastics. From third classmen to first classmen, cadets are required to take soccer, rugby(softball for female cadet), volleyball, tennis, racquet ball, basketball, totally 6 ball sports. Gymnastics courses, which must be taken by third classmen, are horizontal bar, mat, horse, and trampolines. Female cadets take horizontal bar, mat, aerobics, stretching, etc. The second classmen courses are ball games and aerospace fitness training. The ball games for second classmen consist of equivalent sports as third classmen. The objective for second classmen is in developing aerospace fitness ability and physical ability of sports. Physical education courses for first classmen are ball games, and aerospace fitness training. aerospace fitness training courses are equivalent to second classmen. The objective for first classmen is in completion of aerospace fitness, and managing of sports(planning, judging)

Aerospace Physiology (human knowledge · society · natural sciences senior, 2semesters, 2grades, 2hours/technology senior, 1semester, 2grades, 2hours) We study a method of increasing Aerospace strength for conditioning which a pilot can get used to G-force by understanding a principle of training, trait of skeletal muscle, and energy creating system. It is the basics of aerospace strength for getting used to gravity and physical system showed on the respiratory function, skeletal muscle system, and vestibular organ by physical environmental change of the atmosphere.
