Introduction to Political Science Investigates the relation between politics and social phenomena, politics and human beings, and the academic characteristics of political science. Discusses political structures, political processes, and political institutions with the methods of political science.
War Time Literature To cultivate the virtues of a leader and to obtain a sharp, logical judgement, cadets, as potential air force commanders, will systematically cover the basic theories and analytical methods of literature. Especially, by studying literature on war, cadets will indirectly experience the realities of war and the inner world of human beings within wars. Furthermore, through critical interpretation, course aims to foster the Sung-Mu spirit of homeland and honor and enhance understanding of the nation, military structure, and military personnel.
Cultural Study Aims to develop a wide and in-depth understanding of different countries. Deals with the politics, economy, society, history, and culture of different countries grouped according to language.
Linear Algebra Helps cadets obtain the ability to handle abstract mathematical structures. Cadets will train in deducing theorems that can solve real world problems, and build the basis for understanding and applying the mathematics used in applied sciences.
Differential equation In engineering and the natural sciences, many laws or relationships take the form of differential equations. The course covers theories and methods to handle these equations and helps cadets understand the mathematics used in natural sciences and engineering.
Introduction to Computer Programming Develops logical thinking by learning programming language, and enhances the understanding of computer hardware and operating systems by creating actual programs.
Life Science This general course aims at systematically understanding vital phenomena by integrating the basic concepts of biology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics, immunology, and toxicology, which provide the basic knowledge of maintaining and protecting vital phenomena. The course will foster understanding of structure and functions of organisms, expressions and control of genetic information, and the rapidly-advancing biotechnology. The cadets will also acquire a scientific view of biochemical weaponry and environmental issues.
Introduction to Natural Science This course broadens understanding and knowledge about natural science. Learning the historical change of science, cadets can consider the relationship between science and history.
Current English Ⅰ·Ⅱ This course is designed to acquire the basic/advanced English listening and reading skills Air Force officers should have for the English-related jobs.
Engineering MathematicsⅠ·Ⅱ Provides the mathematical basis essential for the study of natural sciences and engineering and develops the calculation abilities.
