Specialties in this field include Air Defense, Air Control, Weather, Information&Communication, Maintenance&Repair, Logistics&Transportation, Civil Engineering, Financial Management, Personnel Administration&Education, Public Affairs, Intelligence, Military Police, Judge Advocate, Chaplain, and Health&Medicine.
ㆍROKAF officers get continued support and opportunities to get systematic military-specialized education programs at Air Force College, Korea National Defence University, various foreign military education institutions and much more.
ㆍIn order to assist further development in professionalism and expertise, ROKAF provides officers with chances to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees in their respective fields and majors. With such higher level of education, most of ROKAF graduates continue devoting their skills and talents for the airforce and the national security.
ㆍUpon the completion of their flight training, ROKAF pilots receive civil airline license officially approved by the government. Many retired ROKAF pilots are continuing their carrer in various civil airline. ROKAF officers from different military specialties also contribute to the society in their respective fields with their knowhow and expertise.
