Flight Training
Overview
Flight training is divided into two parts: during the academy, cadets will receive Flight Aptitude Development Training to develop airmanship and accustom themselves with flight environments. After graduation and being commissioned into Air Force Officers, they will enter 3-phase Pilot Training as student pilots.
During the Academy
Cadets receive paragliding, simulator training, and familiarization flight training to acquire necessary physical strengths to become pilots, familiarize themselves with the aviation environment and gain confidence in actual flight.
After Commission
In order to become Air Force pilots, student pilots must complete 3-phase Pilot Training: Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each phase will use different types of trainer aircraft, and the entire training process takes between 16 to 18 months, depending on the aircraft platforms that students get assigned to.
